A very warm welcome to the Holmes Chapel Chess Club, the home of competitive and social chess in our community.

For those with a competitive spirit, our club proudly competes in the North Staffordshire League, with our home matches played at The Victoria Club here in Holmes Chapel. We are always keen to hear from new players looking to test their skills in a league environment.

Looking for a more casual game? We are delighted to partner with our friends at Middlewich Chess Club for our weekly social chess nights. These relaxed evenings are perfect for players of all abilities – whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the game after a break, or simply want a friendly match without the pressure of the clock.
